World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day

Published on 09.05.2023

On the occasion of World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, we are paying tribute to the legacy of Henry Dunant. The aim of the commitments undertaken by the International Movement, of which we are a member, is to protect human life and health and to bring assistance to the vulnerable.

In order to do so, our teams (employees, volunteers, members of the Board of Directors), as well as benefactors, join forces to try and create a better world. We do everything #AvecLeCoeur (#WithOurHeart).

Our commitments as a national Red Cross society adhere to fundamental principles including neutrality and impartiality.

In situations of armed conflict, natural disaster, or pandemic, for all migrants,…we strive to take action for any vulnerable individuals whatever their legal status.

A hundred or so migrants, unaccompanied minors, recently arrived close by;  they need our support as they are in physical and psychological distress.

We need material resources (underwear and tracksuits sizes S and M, trainers sizes 39 to 42) and financial resources to help them.

Please support us by telephoning +377 97 97 68 00 and specifying the nature of your donation “MNA”.

Happy World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day to all of you!  #AvecLeCœur
