Rosine Sanmori Day Nursery
With 1,200 m² premises and 537 m² terraces, the new Day Nursery has smitten the staff, children and parents. Everything is at street level, with easy access to the car park. Upon entering, you are charmed by the great hall with colored pillars, and all the other outfittings. The designer’s goal was to make this place especially lively and bright so as to create a pleasant environment for small children. Besides, the colors have been selected by the children from their drawings.
Other new things: crickets, birds, the sound of the sea make up the background noise. In the class rooms and play rooms, very well adapted to toddlers, small loudspeakers broadcast background music from time to time. There is a reading room with television. Access to the 3 terraces, with 3 different exposures, enables the nurses to organize games in the open. Bicycles, huts, cubes… a vast number of accessories that the children can use for their great pleasure. As to the kitchen, perfectly functional, it meets top level requirements. Two large cloakrooms have been outfitted for male and female staff; there are benches for a touch of friendliness.
In order to capture the attention and entertain the children, “big and small”, many activities are offered: various workshops, like painting, collage, walks… contribute to the children’s early learning.
