Six young women from Afghanistan’s AYENDA women’s soccer team at the Monaco Red Cross.
Published on 11.06.2024The Monaco Red Cross was delighted to welcome six young women from Afghanistan’s AYENDA women’s soccer team.
Forced to flee Afghanistan after the Taliban came to power, the players and their families arrived in Portugal on September 19, 2021 as part of a group of 80 Afghan refugees. The young sportswomen and their families were welcomed back to Portugal, where they were able to train again.
This week during their visit to ISM, several families from the ISM women’s soccer team welcomed the AYENDA team members, offering them a truly immersive experience, fostering deep bonds through four days of shared lessons, cultural exchange and friendship.
Thanks to them for sharing their experience, and to ISM for organizing this friendly visit to the Monaco Red Cross.
