A big success for World Red Cross Day!

World Red Cross Day took place at the Espace Léo Ferré on Saturday 30th April 2016. This new edition, on the initiative of the Monegasque Red Cross, met with great success.

This year, World Red Cross Day again drew in over 2,000 visitors to its traditional sale. With close to 180 volunteers on board for the day, the event featured various activities for the public, a photo exhibition and presentations on Red Cross activities, not forgetting the tombola and its highly appreciated prizes.

On the menu : bargains, conviviality and sharing.

The challenge was met with a net increase in profits as the proceeds of the day amounted to over 59,000 € which will be donated in full to the Monegasque Red Cross’s Social Department.
