Students from Charles III take action for Bosnia & Herzegovina
Published on 08.07.2022Over the course of the 2021-2022 academic year, young students from Charles III took action to support a project run by Action Internationale in Bosnia & Herzegovina.
The goal was to raise funds at the school to purchase a vehicle so that 300 meals could be delivered to vulnerable elderly and isolated individuals in Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Prior to the implementation of actions (creating a logo, selling to students…) to raise the funds, the Monaco Red Cross presented to 198 school children in their classrooms the issue at stake and the ultimate goal of the project: to buy a vehicle for meal distribution in Bosnia & Herzegovina.
The highly motivated students raised €4,645.36. Our heartfelt thanks for their hard work.
The funds were handed over to the Red Cross at prize-giving day at the Charles III School.
